Our Story

Since 1920, Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin clubs have offered community-minded people like you the opportunity to make your town or city a better place to live. Kinsmen and Kinettes play a vital role in Canadian society by raising funds for worthy causes, undertaking community projects and providing leadership, training and networking opportunities for our members
Kin Canada is your chance to change lives!
  • Help less fortunate families
  • Make your community a better place
  • Put a smile on a child's face
  • Address local needs one project at a time

Fundraising
Through a variety of service projects organized by clubs, Kin Canada has helped thousands of people in need. Kin members can proudly say they have contributed more than $1 billion to Canadian communities - including nearly $40 million for cystic fibrosis research. They have also raised hundreds of million dollars for parks, playgrounds and community facilities. By volunteering in your local club, you will be supporting the efforts of your Kin neighbours who are working together to better your community.
Get Started
We’re sure you will enjoy belonging to a diverse and spirited group. While having fun and working with others, you will also create life-long friendships that extend far beyond your own club.
This is your personal invitation to volunteer alongside others in your community who are already making a difference.

Kin Canada – Kin Canada is the nation's largest all-Canadian service club organization. Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin clubs across the country work to better their communities, enhance the well-being of Canadians and improve the environment. The Association boasts a proud 90-year history dedicated to fostering life-long friendships while ‘Serving the Community’s Greatest Need.’

District 1 News and Events:

DISTRICT ONE, LET'S GET R.E.V'D UP!

Official Call to FLC 2011 - "Duct Tape Forever"

  • November 11-13, 2011
  • Cambridge, Ontario
Hosted by the Mount Forest Kin Club

Welcome fellow Kin to a new beginning, a new focus, and a new Kin year. One that we hope will return District One to it's former glory as the top District in the Association. That, fellow Kin is the entire basis for what you have likely heard as "R.E.V".
R.E.V. was not developed by the Governors, or by your District Executive. It was not given to your Deputy Governors and told to "make it happen". That isn't the way we work, it was developed by the people you elected to administer to your zones, and to assist your clubs. Your Deputy Governors developed R.E.V. and now bring it to you. Those 3 focus areas; Respect, Education, Vision and the creation of R.E.V. was thru the feedback recieved from the people at the grassroots level based on what they saw as as a need to begin to create more harmony amongst members and clubs, in an effort to eliminate that which prevents us from moving forward as clubs first and foremost but also as a District. This can not be done without a full effort of each and every member of this District. You will find a R.E.V. power point presentation below. Download it, watch it, make your club watch it as an educational tool, discuss it, and take the lead lap by being the one to instill it in your club! If you have any questions or would like us to visit your club to do a REV presentation or to assist in facillitating getting REV started in your club, please do not hesitate to ask. SPREAD THE REV MESSAGE!
Sincerely Yours in Kin,Dan Strugar & Colleen Wake
