Since 1920, Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin clubs have offered community-minded people like you the opportunity to make your town or city a better place to live. Kinsmen and Kinettes play a vital role in Canadian society by raising funds for worthy causes, undertaking community projects and providing leadership, training and networking opportunities for our members
| Kin Canada is your chance to change lives!
- Help less fortunate families
- Make your community a better place
- Put a smile on a child's face
- Address local needs one project at a time
Through a variety of service projects organized by clubs, Kin Canada has helped thousands of people in need. Kin members can proudly say they have contributed more than $1 billion to Canadian communities - including nearly $40 million for cystic fibrosis research. They have also raised hundreds of million dollars for parks, playgrounds and community facilities. By volunteering in your local club, you will be supporting the efforts of your Kin neighbours who are working together to better your community.
We’re sure you will enjoy belonging to a diverse and spirited group. While having fun and working with others, you will also create life-long friendships that extend far beyond your own club.
This is your personal invitation to volunteer alongside others in your community who are already making a difference!

Please share! We are so excited that one of our members, Mary Metcalfe will be trekking to Machu Picchu to raise funds for Cystic fibrosis!
I am taking the challenge and participating in the first ever Worldwide Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History: Peru Edition. Along with my fellow adventurous fundraisers, we will embark on an eight day trek to climb one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu!
This once in a lifetime adventure will reach for new peaks in support of cystic fibrosis research and care. Every week one baby born in Canada is diagnosed with CF through newborn screening, and the funds raised through this trek are helping the over 4,200 Canadians living with this disease.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we are closer than ever to ending CF. The estimated median age of survival in Canada for those living with CF is 53.3 years and the CF population is thriving due to our world-class research and care, but we still have work to do. Half of the CF patients who died in 2016 were under 38.9 years of age.
Donate today and you will help me go on this incredible adventure while making a difference in the lives of Canadians affected by cystic fibrosis.
Thank you in advance for your support.Every donation will help towards finding a cure for this terrible disease.
